I am a Florida native, former social worker turned Oracle Database Administrator currently based in the greater Nashville area. In 2018 I decided I wanted a new career that allowed me to utilize my creativity while still being able to help others. I discovered that tech fueled all of my passions and utilized each of my talents, so I earned seven IT certifications and completed my third bachelor's degree in September of 2021 in Computer Science from Western Governor's University, all while I took care of my two young children full-time at home, taught English remotely part-time, and completed a full-time, year-long DBA apprenticeship. Now that I have completed my Computer Science degree, I spend my days working as a Database Administrator and my free time working on various programming projects. I am a life-long learner who never ceases attempting to expand my current skillset as well as learning new ones. I am most passionate about the healthcare and aerospace industries.
